Unlock 2,500 Bonus Points with Marriott and Singapore Airlines
In a remarkable partnership, Marriott Bonvoy and Singapore Airlines’ KrisFlyer have unveiled a fresh promotion that rewards members linked through their accounts. By registering and completing three paid nights at Marriott Bonvoy hotels before December 31, 2026, members stand to gain an attractive total of 2,500 bonus Marriott Bonvoy points. However, it pays to act swiftly, as this offer is capped at the first 20,000 members who earn their third night.
Exclusive Eligibility and Benefits of Linking Accounts
It's worth noting that only those with Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite or higher, or KrisFlyer Elite Silver status can link their accounts, with names required to match on both sides. For many Canadians, achieving Gold Elite is often possible through popular credit cards like The Platinum Card® from American Express. For those yet to join KrisFlyer, registration remains free, providing a straightforward path to accessing these unique rewards.
The Value of the Promotion and Additional Benefits
While the 2,500 points equate to approximately $20—an amount not overly substantial—there is potential for greater rewards through simultaneous participation in Marriott Bonvoy's other fall promotions. If members complete their stays before November 22, they may capitalize on an additional 1,500 points by booking two or more nights during that window. Together, these promotions create a compelling reason to book travel with both Marriott and Singapore Airlines.
Strategic Considerations for Aspiring Travelers
Beyond the bonus points, linking accounts can propel travelers toward elite status with KrisFlyer, particularly for those aiming for KrisFlyer Elite Gold. With benefits like Star Alliance Gold status, members gain access to exclusive lounges and priority services in their travels. However, those weighing the decision to link their accounts should consider the value of this one-time opportunity versus potential future travels.
This promotion, though modest in scope, is a reminder that every little bit helps when planning your travels! Those with upcoming trips should evaluate their eligibility and seize the opportunity to earn additional rewards.
