From August 20 to 29, 2025, aspiring cabin crew members will have the opportunity to participate in open casting calls held every Wednesday from 10 AM to 12 noon. Unlike traditional recruitment processes that emphasize formal attire and strict appearances, this new approach encourages candidates to come in comfortable, casual clothing—white t-shirts, jeans, and casual shoes for men, while women can opt for a white shirt paired with denim skirts and heels. This shift not only fosters a more relaxed environment but also challenges outdated stereotypes that often eliminate talented individuals based on superficial criteria.

“We are reimagining the way we do our recruitment process to focus more on the essentials—talent, attitude, and skills needed to become a successful cabin crew,” said Suresh Bangah, CEO of AirAsia Philippines.
